No Rules Except…10th Anniversary Edition
In 2018 I was asked by the New Children's Museum, San Diego and the Allan Kaprow estate to do an anniversary edition of No Rules Except... The original was in place for five years until it was retired because of wear and tear. (by that time well over a quarter of a million kids had played in it.)
The new installation included 180 full sized canvas covered foam tires; over 30 mattresses, climbing walls, new sound elements, again designed by Bram Crane-Kaprow. Unfortunately the installation was retired in 2021 due to ongoing pandemic.
