SUPPER
This installation was a collaboration with my friend Wendell Kling. It is a culmination of several events where friends and family built their own costumes out of cardboard, duct tape and colored paper. After the costumes were made and a lunch of soup and bread was finished, a grand mock battle ensued which was captured on Super-8 film. Those costumes later served as iconic images for the installation. The original Super-8 movie was shown as records played at slow speed on turntables in the space. A feast of bread and soup was served on a banquet table.
